It may be that you have decided that a traditional Christening Ceremony is not for you, but you want to celebrate this huge occasion.   The ceremony can take place anywhere. 

 A naming ceremony could be for the arrival of a new baby into the family; it could be for an older child, it could be for an adopted child or even when brothers and sisters are coming together to strengthen their bond as a family after a marriage.  As a Family Celebrant, I would work with you to create a unique ceremony; you may have seen something at a ceremony that you would love to include.  If not, I can guide you through different elements that you may wish to add. Promises for the future, welcome to the family and the inclusion of grandparent and brothers and sisters.  The choice is yours.
